Here are a few words about Alycea Adams:

Authentic is more than an adjective; it is a lifestyle that I embody to be the best version of myself. As a rising fourth-year student, I am majoring in a B.S. in Information Science with a double minor in Entrepreneurship and Urban Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While studying, I am proud to be a Carolina Covenant Scholar, UNC Shuford Program Ambassador, and a member of the UNC-Chapel Hill Cheerleading Program. I have been recognized as a UNC Hayden B. Renwick Academic Scholar and Dean's List recipient for six consecutive semesters. My academic journey at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Information and Library Science has equipped me with a solid foundation in Information Science. As a second-year intern at Delta Air Lines within the Business Strategy Information Technology Department, I have gained valuable experience in project management, digital communication, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. Last summer, I had the privilege of developing vector and web graphics for communication campaigns, overseeing engagement activities for the Delta Air Lines IT Transformation People Initiative Program, and contributing to the success of the 2023 IT Summer Hackathon. I look forward to what I will achieve this summer As an entrepreneur, I am a natural hair influencer with 920,000+ followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube under the talent management of the Dulcedo Group. I have landed paid campaigns with Garnier Fructis, Mielle Organics, Pantene, and several other hair and beauty companies to create engaging and authentic content. In less than a year, I have grown my platforms from 42K to 920K, served as a panelist speaker at Curly Con LA in Los Angeles, California, and started my own social media and marketing company, The DIY Girly!

Welcome to Mariah's vision of creating an inclusive leadership development community. Her inspiration arose from observing a multitude of leaders within her extensive network, yet noticing a lack of support and investment for anyone below the senior and C-level positions. In a world where leadership development was once exclusive, Mariah set out to change the status quo with The Network. Mariah firmly believes that the pursuit of leadership growth and empowerment should not be limited to an exclusive circle of individuals deemed "elite." She understands the true value of leadership development lies in making it accessible to all who genuinely appreciate its significance. Join us at The Network, where we embrace diversity, foster growth, and create opportunities for leadership development that transcend traditional boundaries. Together, let's redefine what it means to be a leader and build a community where everyone has the chance to thrive.
